Thank you for visiting Hapless Horse. This site has been developed in my spare time, and is intended to help owners of equines with diseases or illnesses to find a solution to their problem.

I am not a professional myself. I first started horse riding when i was ten, and loved it so much that i volunteered at my local riding for the disabled every weekend and during holidays. I then went to an Agricultural College and studied a national diploma in Horse Management, but after finishing the course for various reasons i decided i no longer wanted a career in the horse industry.

I have recently graduated from University after studying Zoology, and created this website in my spare time during this after learning some HTML and CSS (which took quite a long time!). This is now the new version of the website, which has been developed to give more freedom with the amount of pages, alongside other things, so hopefully it will expand in the future. As you can see the design is quite basic, although i'm hoping to improve this in the future.

The information on this site is taken from a number of sources, inluding books, websites and journals. References and citations will eventually be included, so you will be able to look further for more information on a problem, or to check information given.

Anyway, i hope you enjoy the site and find it useful, and welcome all comments, good or bad, and suggestions for the site.
