Boil

Symptoms

Small painful papules which secrete pus, enlarge over time and develop a scab.

Cause

Usually and infection of the hair follicle, often seen after clipping.

Treatment

Each boil should be bathed in hot water until they burst, they can then be clean and an antibiotic treatment can be applied. Antiseptic skin washes can be used on a regular basis
